Birth details will only come up where the birth occurred at least 100 years ago.

Death details will only come up where the death occurred at least 50 years ago, or the deceased’s date of birth was at least 80 years ago.

Most of the deceased veterans for whom we are conducting a search meet this second requirement.

For those of you interested in undertaking Marriage searches, note that the marriage must have occurred at least 80 years ago. A search for marriages occurring just before, during or just after the war will therefore produce no result and won’t for some years to come.
