Sources of Information

This section of the spreadsheet refers to information mainly gleaned from the Auckland War Museum’s Cenotaph database, but also from some notations made on the Nominal Rolls themselves.

Much of the information on the Cenotaph database has been collated from a variety of sources as will be apparent to anyone undertaking a search. Over the next few years we are likely to see a lot more information being made available there.

The POW Lists (which they hold in hard copy)

The 28th Maori Battalion website

The New Zealand Military Nursing website for the NZANS and NZWAAC.

More recently, public input.
